Around 1871, Henry Doulton launched an art wares studio at Lambeth and offered work to designers and artists from the local art school. Doulton never looked back and the Art Wares Studio produced some of the finest ceramic artists of modern times.
Royal Doulton Art Ware includes some of the most attractive ceramics around, including flambe figures & vases, Brangwyn wares produced from 1930 to 1942 which have their very own base mark, and Titania wares produced from 1916 to 1933 which also have their own special mark.
